Vanessa Pacheco is a fourth year undergraduate at Humboldt State University. She is majoring in Oceanography and currently working under Joe Tybruczy as a student assistant in Humboldt County. Their research focuses on ocean acidification specifically on how it correlates to oyster aquaculture. Vanessa will begin assisting Tyburczy with monitoring eelgrass and kelp in Humboldt Bay in the upcoming months.
