Matthew Warham

Matthew Warham graduated with a Master of Environmental Science and Management degree from the UC Santa Barbara Bren School of Environmental Science and Management in 2019. His graduate research evaluated the conservation benefits of commercial aquaculture on an endangered species in Baja California, Mexico. Warham also spent time working with the Sustainable Fisheries Group at UC Santa Barbara and the Coral Reef Advisory Group and the U.S. All Islands Coral Reef Committee in American Samoa.

Warham will be working on a wide variety of projects related to marine protected areas (MPAs). He is particularly excited about being involved in the first decadal review of California's MPA network in 2022 and working with stakeholders statewide in determining the future management of California's MPA network.
