Corinna Hong graduated with a Master of Environmental Science and Management from the UC Santa Barbara Bren School of Environmental Science & Management in 2020. Her graduate research identified social and economic barriers to vessel tracking technology adoption in small-scale fisheries. During her graduate studies, she also researched environmental behavior change as an intern at The Root Solutions.

Hong will be working on the California Fish and Game Commission’s Coastal Fishing Communities Project. She will also be involved in state policy evaluation and development to conserve California’s fish and wildlife. Hong is most excited to participate in the Commission’s broad stakeholder engagement work.
