California Sea Grant is drafting a new strategic plan, and we want your input!

Every five years California Sea Grant updates and reevaluates our program’s strategic plan in an effort to ensure the diverse needs of California’s coastal communities and marine environment are in fact being met. Once completed, this year’s strategic plan will guide our work from 2024 to 2027.

We believe the voices of Californians are essential to this process. With that in mind, we invite all interested members of the public to participate in this important survey. While only a handful of questions are required to participate, we encourage you to take the time to share further feedback by answering additional optional questions that will help ensure we are meeting the varied needs of Californians.

Please visit the survey by clicking here. The survey should take only five to 15 minutes of your time. Please provide input via this survey by October 7, 2022.

Whether you have feedback on our research projects or outreach programs, or would like to share your thoughts on how we're doing when it comes to improving environmental literacy, we’re ready to listen!
