Aquaculture 2019 is the largest aquaculture conference and tradeshow in the world.
California Sea Grant extension and program analyst Catherine Courtier will be presenting information regarding the challenges of permitting molluscan shellfish aquaculture in federal waters of the exclusive economic zone. She will present as part of a session entitled "Navigating the Legal Complexity of Shellfish Aquaculture Permitting" on Sunday March, 10 from 8:30-10:00am. The session will include members of the Sea Grant Legal Network from the National Sea Grant Law Center and Sea Grant Legal Programs from Rhode Island, Mississippi-Alabama, Virginia, and Georgia.
California Sea Grant Extension Specialists Paul Olin and Luke Gardner will also be in attendance.
