Tabitha Birdwell will receive a Master's degree in International Environmental Policy, specializing in ocean and coastal resource management, from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey in May 2022. Concurrently, she has also been coordinating the Watershed Health Program at the Inland Ocean Coalition, where she played a leading role in creating their Ocean-Friendly Farming program.

As a fellow, Tabitha is excited to apply her education and experience within the Delta Science Program's Collaborative Science and Peer Review Unit. There, she will contribute to implementing and updating the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta's Science Action Agenda and Delta Science Plan. She looks forward to contributing to the collaborative exchange of scientific knowledge and management tools and plans to apply these skills to her future career, where she intends to lead project and policy work that protects and restores region-crossing aquatic ecosystems.
