Olivia Johnson

Olivia Johnson completed a master’s degree in Environmental Management with an emphasis in ecology from University of San Francisco. For her graduate thesis she studied Bull Kelp restoration and management in Northern California.

For her fellowship, Olivia will be joining California Department of Parks and Recreation – Natural Resources Division in their Coastal Programs Unit where she will she work with the team to implement State Park’s coastal policies and programs. She will contribute to the State Park’s Estuary Initiative and Sea Level Rise Adaptation Strategy. Olivia plans to bring her previous experience with stakeholder relations and climate communications to this fellowship position to support various coastal management programs in the face of climate impacts.
