Melissa Abderrahim

Melissa Abderrahim earned a master's degree in applied marine and watershed sciences at California State University Monterey Bay in 2019. Abderrahim was also a CSU COAST intern at the California Ocean Science Trust, where she worked on ocean acidification projects which included supporting the development of the California Ocean Acidification Action Plan.

Over the course of her fellowship, Abderrahim will help support the work of the California Ocean Acidification and Hypoxia Task Force, assist with the year-long Academic Roadshow, and aid the OPC Science Advisory Team in seeking opportunities to expand diversity, equity, and inclusion in their work.
