Amanda Chiachi

Amanda Chiachi received her Masters of Biology from California State University, Northridge. Her thesis investigated the impacts of marine heatwaves on abalone aquaculture in Southern California.

During her fellowship at California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 1, Amanda will support the Division of Environmental Engineering and Coastal Stewardship by working on a variety of tasks including conducting biological surveys, producing CEQA-level environmental assessments, and further examining environmental regulatory processes.
