Workshop on Future Planning for Central Embarcadero & Commercial Fishing in San Diego

DateThursday, March 14, 2019 | 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Location

Come and weigh in on the future of Embarcadero and one of our last remaining working fishing harbors!

The Port of San Diego invites the public to attend an upcoming board workshop regarding future planning for the Central Embarcadero and baywide commercial fishing policy concepts.

The Central Embarcadero includes Seaport Village, The Fish Market restaurant, The Headquarters, and others. In addition to its prominent place on the waterfront of downtown San Diego, the Central Embarcadero is also a hub for the commercial fishing industry and its open-air seafood market, the Tuna Harbor Dockside Market.

The Port is the home of San Diego’s commercial fishing fleet with two designated commercial fishing harbors - Tuna Harbor and Driscoll’s Wharf – which support the legacy and potential of the commercial fishing industry and its workers.
