Environmental Justice and the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta: a virtual brown bag webinar series presented by the Delta Science Program and California Sea Grant 

This monthly series of webinars will touch on themes of environmental justice relevant to issues in California and the Delta. Scholars and public service experts will speak on the importance of environmental justice as it pertains to state water management, climate resilience, indigenous stewardship, and management of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Webinars are presented through zoom, and are free and open to the public with registration.

Laurel is one of five members of the State Water Resources Control Board, which is responsible for protecting water quality and water supplies in California from source to tap.

Postdoc at UCLA 

Kristin researches the role of governance in creating, perpetuating, and solving drinking water disparities in California.
