This monthly series of webinars will touch on themes of environmental justice relevant to issues in California and the Delta. Scholars and public service experts will speak on the importance of environmental justice as it pertains to state water management, climate resilience, indigenous stewardship, and management of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Webinars are presented through zoom, and are free and open to the public with registration.

Dr. Kyle Whyte
Professor of Environmental Sustainability at the University Michigan

His work focuses on moral and political issues concerning climate policy and Indigenous peoples. He also serves on several environmental justice committees including the White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council.
