Free Lecture: Early Results from the Humboldt Ocean Carbon Observatory

A free evening lecture, “Early Results from the Humboldt Ocean Carbon Observatory — ocean acidification, eel grass and how they interact in Humboldt Bay,” will be presented by Joe Tyburczy with California Sea Grant Thursday at 7 p.m. at the HSU Natural History Museum, 1242 G St. Tyburczy will provide an explanation of ocean acidification and why it is something everyone should be concerned about. He will share preliminary results from an ongoing collaborative project. Arrive early for a good seat.
