Cal Poly professors and students will be on hand to explain their ongoing research into local marine life, including Morro Bay's ecosystem, sustaining local fisheries and mapping ocean currents on the Central Coast.
Extension Specialist Jennifer O'Leary's team will be presenting on sea star wasting disease and whether local populations show signs of recovery. They will also be showing people how the intertidal has become more dominated with mussels through photographic time series.
