Will joined California Sea Grant’s Russian River Salmon and Steelhead Monitoring Program in 2014, as a Watershed Stewards Program member. As a staff research associate, Will manages the program’s PIT-tag antenna detection systems throughout the Russian River watershed, and is a field crew lead for all seasonal survey efforts. Recently, he has been working on a project examining the impacts of streamflow augmentation on coho and steelhead habitat, movement, survival and growth. Will earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
